The most basic tools are, of course, the pipe and the tobacco. You also need matches/lighter, a pipe tool, and a packet of pipe cleaners. A pipe tool is an important little metal tool with three arms. One arm, which looks like a spoon, is used to scoop the tobacco. Another arm, which is straight, can be run through the shank. The third arm, which is flat and circular at one end, is used to press the tobacco during smoking. Pipe cleaners are equally important."
