Armellini
Mauro Armellini started working for Nino Rossi, who at one time ran the largest briar pipe factory in the world. In 1960 Armellini started working for himself, creating a new line of pipes, preferring freehand pipes like the Calabash, the Pistols and the unique Double Bowls. All these are limited edition (around 50 a year). In 1993 Mauro founded the new company: Armellini Mauro e C. with his four daughters. When Armellini passed away recently, it was very difficult for his grandson Vilma to decide to continue Armellini production, but today Vilma is determined to carry on and keep alive his grandfather‘s pipe making tradition with the help of Matteo, Vilma‘s son.
